Abstract:To solve the problem that the azimuth calibration accuracy of a shipborne medium-wave navigation station is affected by attitude variation, data-link delay and antenna position deviation under the relative motion between a ship and a calibration aircraft, a dynamic flight calibration method for the shipborne medium-wave navigation station was studied. A dynamic calibration system composed of an airborne subsystem and a shipborne subsystem was designed. Mobile-base real time kinematic (MB-RTK) positioning was used to obtain the dynamic spatial reference, and WGS84/ECEF coordinate transformation, antenna position compensation, magnetic azimuth conversion and radio compass error calculation were combined to process calibration data. Flight tests of the approach-course subject and circular subject were carried out to obtain azimuth error data. The results show that the system can complete azimuth accuracy calibration under dynamic conditions and meet the engineering application requirements of service and periodic calibration.
