Abstract:To address the limitations of continuous-wave radar in detection range and the velocity ambiguity in low-PRF pulse radar, a post-processing method for radial velocity extraction is studied; The key techniques of range center smoothing, B-spline fitting, and FFT filter number curve comparison are adopted to construct a robust de-ambiguity process without relying on multiple PRFs; Field tests show that this method successfully extracts the full-course radial velocity of various projectiles with a de-ambiguity success rate exceeding 98% and a velocity measurement error less than 0.2 m/s; The method significantly enhances the radial velocity measurement capability of pulse radar in long-range target tracking and meets the testing requirements for full-range trials of long-range weapons.
