Abstract:Addressing the far-field condition limitations encountered by vehicle and shipborne tracking and control equipment during the phase calibration process. A novel feeder-based phase calibration approach is proposed. By analyzing the fundamental relationship between phase calibration, feeders, and antennas, experiments for both far-field and near-field conditions of antennas and feeders were designed and conducted, validating two feeder phase calibration methods: the Feeder Position Comparison Method and the Feeder Phase Correction Method. Data analysis results indicate that the use of feeder phase calibration methods can achieve simple, rapid, and stable phase calibration, effectively resolving the issues encountered by vehicle and shipborne tracking and control equipment in phase calibration.
