Abstract:In order to improve the automation operation level of single pulse radar in the field of aerospace measurement and control, a single pulse radar automatic tracking system was designed and developed on a domestically controllable software and hardware platform based on the technical characteristics of a typical single pulse radar. The system integrates radar A-display digital signals, status and control information of radar to automatically identify targets and interference signals in the receiving channel during radar tracking, monitors radar operation status in real time, and provides information support for automatic judgment and decision. The control commands which automatically generated by the system were sent to radar, so the radar can automatically prepare for task status, recognize targets, capture and track targets, and handle common anomalies. Through testing, the system has been successfully applied in the single pulse radar link under multi station collaboration. The accuracy of target recognition reaches 100%, and the target recapture can be completed within 3 seconds, the reliability and response rate of single pulse radar tracking have been greatly improved.
