Abstract:Light screen target is an instrument that can measure the flight speed of projectiles. The verification and calibration of the light curtain target is a necessary work to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test data. In response to the problems of complicated operation, high cost, weak specificity, and low measurement efficiency in the current calibration and testing equipment for light screen targets, a portable light screen target calibration instrument based on FPGA and STM32 has been designed; The overall scheme of the light screen target calibration instrument was proposed, and the synchronous and asynchronous calibration signals were analyzed and designed. The principle of DDS technology was introduced; Designed FPGA, STM32, DA module hardware circuits and optoelectronic fixtures, serial touch screen, battery module, and completed the selection of corresponding chips and devices used; The development of FPGA was completed on the LabVIEW platform, using DDS technology to generate trigger signals through the DA module. STM32 completed data processing and transmission, and a serial touch screen was used to achieve human-machine interaction. Finally, the signal was output by the photoelectric fixture; The experimental results show that the synchronization time consistency error of the output signal of the light screen target calibrator is between 330 ns and 370 ns, and the asynchronous delay accuracy is within ± 0.1 μ s. It has the characteristics of small error, high accuracy, portability and lightweight, meeting the application requirements of fast calibration of light screen targets and providing technical guarantees for improving the installation and adjustment accuracy of light screen targets.
