Abstract:To meet the demand for adjustable laser pulse width in different application fields, this paper designs a nanosecond pulse laser signal generation circuit system with adjustable pulse width based on external trigger. The paper introduces the main hardware components of the circuit system, including controllable delay circuit, pulse signal recombination circuit, laser power control and temperature automatic control circuit, and integrates and tests the circuit system. It generates nanosecond laser pulse signals with pulse width adjustable range of 0.25ns to 63.75ns. The root mean square (RMS) of laser energy is less than 0.92% when setting different pulse widths. The circuit system achieves the expected effect with precision adjustable nanosecond pulse width and excellent RMS performance of laser energy.
