Abstract:When switching no-load lines, capacitor banks, or reactors in substations, overvoltage and inrush currents can easily occur, causing impacts on the power grid system and power equipment. In severe cases, it may even cause damage to equipment components; A phase selection controller based on ARM+FPGA dual core architecture has been developed for this purpose. The device uses solid-state relays for command output to ensure its own accuracy; At the same time, in order to address the complex structure of high-voltage switches, the mechanical characteristics are easily affected by external environments, and the stability of action time is poor, the device also provides various external sensor interfaces, which can predict and correct the switch action time through compensation algorithms, thereby ensuring system accuracy; The 550kV high-voltage switch controled switch test platform was built to verify the device function. The results showed that the system can control the switch to complete the action in the preset phase, with a phase selection deviation of no more than 0.6ms, which can meet the engineering requirements.
