Abstract:The detection of heart rate is of great significance to human health. Currently, the mainstream heart rate detection equipment needs to be in direct contact with the skin, which can easily lead to the transmission of infectious diseases and bring burdens to users. In order to solve these problems, this paper develops a heart rate detection application based on Android devices, which can be used for non-contact heart rate detection and display the detection results on the interface, and realize self-detection of the user"s heart rate. The heart rate detection algorithm packaged in the application is the Euler video magnification algorithm, which can estimate the human heart rate through facial images. The designed application is easy to operate, and the usage scenarios are not limited. The experimental results in real environment show that the root mean square error between the detection results and the real heart rate is 2.93, which is small and has a high consistency with the real heart rate. The detection accuracy can meet the needs of users.
