Abstract:With the development of technology, the flight airspace of light unmanned aerial vehicle system(abbr. LUAS) with the take-off total weight from 25 kg to 150 kg can be fully integrated into the civil aviation airspace. the research on airworthiness certification was discussed in the paper .By comparing the probability of civil aircraft accidents with the safety level of airworthiness, the expected safety level of LUAS is determined. Then, taking the key flight control subsystem as the research object, its flight control function hazardous analysis(abbr. FHA) and failure mode effect analysis(abvr. FMEA) were carried out on a 150Kg take-off total weight LUAS to obtain the key safety factors of the flight control subsystem. Finally, based on the SAE ARP4754A and RPAS 1309, the expected safety level of the flight control subsystem components was quantified and the development assurance level(abbr. DAL) was assigned. The discussions in this paper can be used for the management practice of LUAS airworthiness certification.
