Interception along trace aiming to maneuvering target is proposed in this paper, which can reduce the relative velocity between interceptor and target and requirements of interceptor acceleration to avoid missing. mathematical model of standard missile-3 is established to study the interception process,the simulation considers about mass changing of boosters and interceptors, initial alignment error of terminal guidance, measuring error and blind area of seeker, response delay of dynamic system and acceleration limit. The results shows that interceptor can hit maneuvering target accurately while target is faster than itself, which indicates the practical significance of interception along trace.
