Abstract:This paper studies the design problem for a host computer monitor software which is used to realize the visualization of datas real-time during the moving of the mobile robot. The software is designed based on the crossing platform framework of Qt graphics library and programmed with the object-oriented C++ programming language. The main functions of the software are such that decode and separate the received data, and draw the real-time trajectory and the state curves of the mobile robot. First, we give a brief introduction of the hardware, software, the self-designed mobile robot platform and development environment. Then, the functions of the host computer software and its design process are stated. Finally, a path following experiment of the mobile robot is given to verify the effectiveness of the designed host computer monitor software.
