Local controller is an important subsystem of EAST (Experimental Advanced Super—conducting Tokamak) poloidal field power supply control system,implements the real-time control of 12 sets of power supply,monitors status of device in real-time and protects the system. Local controller uses the master-slave structure of real-time control software architecture,realizes data interaction through shared memory,triggers the processes to execute by pulse messaging; Transfers data through fieldbus,hardware board,reflective memory network with devices and main controller; Alpha board realizes the circulation and four quadrant operation of rectifier. The experiment shows that the design is stable and can meet the real time and reliability requirements of poloidal field power control system.
