Abstract:In order to meet the requirements of the PV power station control and design level, the paper develops a photovoltaic array volt-ampere characteristic test system, which is based on the characteristics of charge and discharge for capacitor. Working principle and the crucial factor of the test system is investigated. The voltage, electricity and the corresponding power characteristic curve in the surrounding are recorded when the capacitor is charged by PV array. The paper also build the PV modules of M*N model, and then investigate the electric performance parameters of the PV modules and the maximum power point. Some experiments are made to verify the accuracy of the simulation in the latter. The results reveal that the test system has low cost, high measuring accuracy and stability. The characteristics of PV array can be recorded intuitively with the test system.
