A frequency-hopping communication system is studied in this paper to improve the anti-interference performance of communication systems. Through analyzing the principle of frequency-hopping communication system, its implementation scheme is proposed which is based on the QPSK modulation using FPGA. A super heterodyne receiving mode is used in the receiver to reduce noise and improve the receiving sensitivity. The receiver also uses self-synchronization of waiting for carrier capture and delay phase-locked loop for carrier tracking in the process of carrier synchronization. The test results prove the presented scheme can implement the frequency-hopping communication correctly, which is more flexible, cost-effective than the other solutions of frequency-hopping communication system.
