Abstract:Based on the popular design method of advanced power quality analyzer,we design a power quality analyzer which is based on DSP+ARM. At the same time, we detect the voltage dip,voltage swell and voltage interruption which was based on wavelet transform and then emulated with MATLAB. Firstly, we design the hardware structure and the interface of HPI of the power quality analyzer. Then, we denoised the waveform by Mallat algorithm. After that we detected the starting time and the end time of the disturbance by modulus maxima algorithm and Mallat algorithm of wavelet transform. Then we can decide the type of disturbance through calculating the effective value between two points we detected before. The simulation result shows that the wavelet transform can detect the time and the type of disturbance accurately. This result can also provide a reliable basis for the research of intelligent meter.
