Abstract:In order to carry out the channel calibration of high frequency radar receiver and solve the the problem of phase calibration of receiver channel calibration, and also to test the reliability of radar equipment and the accuracy of the algorithm further and solve the problem of simulation of target velocity, analyzing the existing problems of the high frequency radar responder, putting forward the High Frequency Radar Responder based on DDS, and having carried on the experiment on the spot, the result shows that the High Frequency Radar Responder based on DDS can achieve the channel calibration effectively, it is concluded that the High Frequency Radar Responder based on DDS can solve the problem of phase calibration of receiver channel and the simulation of target velocity perfectly. The High Frequency Radar Responder based on DDS uses the digital processing and controlling mode, having small volume, being easily portable, and realizing the channel calibration of radar receiver and the test of radar system and algorithm, being one of the key components of HF radar.
