Abstract:To realize the automatic remote monitoring and parameters centralized management of oil-pipeline cathode protection system, a distributed pipeline cathode protection remote monitoring system based on GPRS is developed,in which the collection terminals are designed to detect the cathode potential, potentiostat voltage and cathode protection current parameters in each spot point, then the acquired data are transmitted to IPC of monitoring center by GPRS wireless network with TCP/IP mode. Finally, the online monitoring and parameters management are implemented for distributed cathode protection state monitoring. The operation test results show that the system is stable and reliable, which realizes remote centralized monitoring for multiple sites and multi-channel data, and the detection accuracy of cathode potential reaches 0.5%, thus, the system can meets remote automation monitoring requirements of oil pipeline cathode protection.
