Abstract:Starting from the point of system analysis and design, this paper present a typical system structure chart based on the Airborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) system under the frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) model characters. And focus on the resolution, swath width and data storage rate, then introduces a simple design methodology. Proceeding with the parameters decomposition, the method revolves around three important problems: feed-through suppression, the large data storage rate and determining transmitted power. In addition, a system operating at 2.4GHz is presented, a set of parameters have been listed and simulated with Advanced Design System (ADS).
