Abstract:Now pepole visual oil cooling radiator sealing ring size by universal tool microscope, high working intensity, poor stability measurement data. In view of this situation, proposes the use of universal tool microscope, CCD camera, gratingS, and computer set up automatic measuring system, the detection of the geometry size of the sealing ring is realized. Using CCD camera instead of universal tool microscope eyepiece, the edge of the sealing ring is imaged on the CCD target by the optical system, digital image passed through USB port to computer, to achieve image acquisition. The Grating ruler fixed to the measurement platform and read platform mobile data. Capturing 6 pieces of seal ring edge image and reading grating ruler reading into the computer. After median filtering, threshold segmentation, image binarization, edge detection and other image processing methods, combined grating reading, through coordinate transformation, all the image edge coordinates are obtained in the same coordinate system, all edge coordinates data were fitted by the least square method and get the radius of the sealing ring. Experimental data show that the variance of the CCD measurement system is 0.0002mm, lower than the visual inspection system, the data of CCD measurement system is stability.
