Abstract:When the helicopter carries out the task of rescuing and searching, the stabilityof holding the altitudeshould to be a necessary, however the height of the helicopter would be oscillating due to the disturbance of wave noise on the measurement of height information. Therefore the Kalman filtering algorithm is advanced according to the fusion of radio altimeter and measurementof vertical accelerometer information, whichis performed to deal with the wavenoise and applied to the helicopter height control system. The simulation results show thatthefiltering algorithm can filter the wave noiseeffectively, and obtain the satisfactoryinformation of height. Meanwhile it also improves the stabilization of the height of helicopter.
