Abstract:In order to compensate for the negative impact of the environment temperature and humidity on the telescope system, improve the capability of large optoelectronic telescope, a temperature and humidity monitoring system based on CAN Field-bus was designed. The system adopts the bus topological structure, mainly consist of the digital sensor SHT15, C8051F500 single-chip microcomputer(SCM), CAN Field-bus and the upper unit. The SCM communicates with SHT15 through SMBus, when the SCM gets the temperature and humidity information from the sensor, it will transfer these messages to the upper computer through the CAN. The upper computer is in charge of processing and displaying these messages timely. The system has been verified in experiments and two node-sensors’ data was collected successfully, it can take a further application in practical work.
