As the optical fiber has many advantages such as the excellent Electro Magnetic Compatibility ability and low loss, the fiber-CAN network has been applied in the microwave heating and other complicated industrial fields more and more.Based on the analysis of the CAN-bus communication protocol and the topological structures of the optical fiber, this paper presents a kind of fiber-CAN loop network design base on LPC2292 microcontroller.It combines the optic transceiver together modules and two by two optic couplers.The relative interface circuit and CAN controller program are designed and the maximum number of the network is also computed by the singnal attenuation and delay.After building the three nodes test of fiber-CAN network,it shows that the design of the fiber-CAN network is effective.
