An active field parking detection device was presented to the problem of energy consumption and reliability of large parking spaces in detecting device. It used permanent magnets to establish active magnetic field,the existence of parking space vehicle could change the closed magnetic field lines through sensor by designing the magnetic circuit,it chose the magnetic sensor with low power consumption to detect through its magnetic flux,and based on the magnetic induction intensity output value to judge whether the stopped vehicle parking. The calculation results and simulation results show that:the parking stall detection device is feasible and its test result is reliable. The device overcomes the geomagnetic disturbances and solves the energy consumption problem,which has the advantages of low cost and high reliability. It is helpful to improve the management quality of the large parking lot.
