The ratio of special equipments for power supply test system is still high, leading to the high cost, inconvenient maintenance, operating and training difficulties. The needs of generic testing by aircrafts were analyzed. Combined with the power supply test system plan, generic hardware and quadratic programming software designs were proposed. This testing system reduced the number of special equipment, reduced development costs, improved efficiency, improved the inheritance and interchangeability, and achieved higher reliability. By this universal design, the requirements were met, indicators were improved significantly, and the test system can be used in the other two projects. Finally, the development and applications of the aircraft test systems were prospected.
