Abstract:To improve location accuracy and real-time for single observer airborne passive location, a recursion least-squares (RLS) passive location algorithm based on angle information is proposed. Firstly, this paper builds single observer airborne three dimensional passive location model, and obtains least-squares (LS) solution. And then a recursion form is deduced according to real-time requirement of single observer airborne passive location. At last, by simulation experiment to study the different factors, which affect the location accuracy and convergence rate. The simulation results show that:location accuracy and convergence rate between two algorithms are closed, but the RLS algorithm has low operation complexity, small memory space needs, positions target real time, which can achieve the requirement of single observer airborne passive location.
