Abstract:To solve the problem of inefficient sampling and accumulation, line detection via Randomized Hough Transform based on spatial moment was proposed in this paper. Using spatial moment method edge points are randomly sampled and the linear parameters are computed. After Random sampling points was reduced to a point, a real line is determined using random Hough transform.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has better accuracy, robustness and stability compared with conventional RHT, and real-time performance can be improved.
